Book Sales

Next Sale: May 5 (10-4 pm) and May 6 (noon-4 pm)

Friends of the Library sponsors two-day Book Sales the first weekend in May and the first weekend in November.

At these Book Sales, tens of thousands of books, CD’s DVD’s, and records are available for purchase. Patrons from all age groups will find something of interest. Prices for the items range from 25 cents to $2.00 and up.

As a Member of Friends of the Library, you are invited to Buns and Books. A continental breakfast is provided while you peruse the entire first floor and make your selections before the public is invited inside. 

Volunteer at the Book Sale

20-30 volunteers work for two days to set up the first floor of the ZJ Loussac Library, so patrons can peruse leisurely throughout the Wilda Marston Theatre, Anchorage Assembly Chambers and other conference rooms, offices and hallways on the first floor.
